It reminds me of Dracula X on the Pc Englne Super CD Rom (a title I still have and play) albeit with vastly superior graphics and with subtle shades of Lionheart by Thalion thrown in for good measure,
A very good game but not that difficult if you were used to seeing (C) Sinclair Research 1982 on your television screen along with dot crawl and screen strings.
Might be getting on a bit but Blood of the Werewolf is a great way to spend a few dollars/pounds ...
I am downloading now, couldn't turn it down. Looks interesting and fun, challenging and clever.
Even if it is only worth a 50% review score, I am sure that is worthy of a sub-£1 price tag.
And nice to see notice on the store page that the devs have updated the game based on feedback. That's always good to see.
I hope to lose a couple of hours at least to this, but even if it keeps me entertained for just half an hour then it has earned it's money
I've been playing for some time now and It's been an awesome experience.
I'm glad to see a level design like the old days, hard enough to make it a challenge, but combined with enough savepoints to save it from being frustrating. And, as an old gamer, I really enjoy the gentle nods to classic games such as Megaman, Castlevania, Mario, Donkey Kong and ... do I get a hint of Ninja Gaiden in there ?
Anyway, I hope to see you again in the near future. Keep up the good work !!! ;-)
PS: If I had to the picky, Selena's 3D model looks a bit like an early " Alone in the dark " character, what with the huge " Crinoline " skirt. ¬_¬ !
