After playing some other AC games and looking back on this game, it's a solid like 8/10. Shorter and more focused then a Mainline AC game but like It feels like a really good little side story. I kind of wish we got maybe a little more time or something to flesh out backstories and motivations. I think the length helps it a ton. The Clothing mechanic is neat but feels under cooked with the fancier outfit. I really wish another AC spinoff or mainline game could revisit this games ideas and expand a bit on it, disguises make a lot of sense for a stealthy shadow order.

I know nobody is gonna get this reference but Aveline lowkey reminds me of Catherine Beadnell from Barbie in a Christmas carol. Shoutout to my fellow Barbie movie lovers out there who know who I'm talking about.

This game, originally a PlayStation Vita title from the early 2010s, often gets more criticism than it deserves. While it’s not without flaws, this handheld game delivers a compact, engaging experience for fans of the classic AC formula, with enough unique elements to make it stand out.

The game’s weaknesses are clear: a thin story, a sparse open world, and technical issues that require frustrating workarounds. The cutscenes and voice acting are serviceable but dated, which reflects the limitations of its handheld origins. However, these shortcomings are somewhat forgivable given the context, well, maybe not the workarounds, that's just typical Ubisoft ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

What sets Liberation apart is its unique mechanics, particularly Aveline de Grandpré’s three disguises (or personas as the game calls it), Assassin, Lady, and Servant, which allow for varied mission approaches and keep gameplay fresh, it's also a feature not found in any of the other games as far as I'm aware, which is sad because I actually really loved it. The chain kill ability is also neat, it's not much but it adds to the game’s already solid combat system. Final Verdict? A flawed but fun addition to the Assassin’s Creed lineup. Its innovative persona system and classic AC gameplay make it worth a play for fans, despite its barebones open world and dated presentation.

Pretty good game but I can not recommend people get this. Just get assassin's creed 3 remastered, that also has a remaster of this.
