This game is a masterpiece of its kind. The ingeniously written dialogue, voice acting, soundtrack, great character, and beautiful athmosphere all make this one of the best RPGs ever made--alongside the likes of Fallout: New Vegas, Deus Ex, and Morrowind. A cult classic, no doubt. The 2000s and their edginess are the soul of this game; nothing like it could be made nowadays. For that fact alone, I feel the sequel will be highly disappointing, especally given all the news surrounding it. It's sad to think nothing like it will ever be made again, but I'm still happy that this game at least came out, existed, and became a classic.

one of my favorite games great writing , great dark atmosphere combat is outdated but this game is all about story so it does not matter that much

Ranged combat absolutely ♥♥♥♥. You automatically take damage whenever you shoot someone. It seems like they maybe didn't want players to use guns? But the setting and dialogue makes up for it. Good game.
