Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

sv_rollangle command not working?
I used to love playing this game but recently my health has made me get really bad motion sickness. Most of the time with games based in the source engine I can use "sv_rollangle 0" (for strafe camera movement) and "cl_bob 0" (for general camera bob) to make said games playable for me. For some reason VtMB, refuses to let me edit the roll angle command even within the config files while cl_bob works just fine. Anyone have any idea on a workaround or fix for this? Maybe the strafe camera movement is applied via another command I am unaware about?

Edit: Thank you to everyone who gave some time to help me figure this out <3

The one exception for balance reasons is sv_suppress_viewpunch, which disables all camera recoil effects and isn't present in all source versions.

Also keep in mind unlike almost all games from the last ~10 years VTMB is old enough to use true hor+ FOV scaling, so if you're playing a different aspect ratio than 4:3 you can probably get some extra fov for "Free" compared to the gold standard of 90.

Since VRMB was built using some sort of alpha version of the Source Engine, it's possible those commands weren't put in yet.

But if anyone knows, it's wesp5, hopefully he can offer a solution.

According to the ModDevGuide sv_rollangle is a valid console command.
What rollangel does?

Probably prevents the camera from tilting when you strafe.

Oh, yeah, you are probably right
If so, i woukd recommended guy to increase fov, cause bob and rollangels are okay in this game

Ps fov is sickening to be honest
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
