Thankfully, the story writer and character designer (Zhad) have hit their first home run when they created Juno with "My Furry Protogen".
Then they hit their second home run with creating Xena, resulting in a sister duo that is "simple yet elegant" in their appearances and have endearing personalities.
Bonus points for doing an excellent job on researching Protogen lore and making an interpretation that is sufficiently faithful to the source material.

The music tracks were also great for setting the mood and becoming a memorable part of each scene that they were played in.

Raeal has raised a valid point of concern that applies not only to the "My Furry Protogen" series but to all the other visual novels by Dirty Fox Games.
That point of concern is the design decision on the backgrounds.
Backgrounds are important assets that can help the viewer to become immersed in the physical setting of the story that they're reading.
To clarify, the background artists put a lot of effort into creating every piece of scenery that is used in the novels.
But almost all of that effort ends up going to waste because, for some unknown reasons, the backgrounds are blurred to the point of being barely recognizeable.
This is widely considered a poor design decision that detracts significantly from the immersion and needs to be resolved for the sake of future projects.
Because it would obviously be better for background scenes to not be altered in this manner as being able to see every texture, shadow, angle, color, and pattern that goes into a background with crystal clarity is of paramount importance to the viewer's experience.
The next game, "My Furry Protogen 3", needs to follow the example set by "Night of Love" which is to use clear and detailed backgrounds instead of the blurry and ambiguous backgrounds like all of the older VNs before it.
In fact, all of the VNs before "Night of Love" need to be remade with clear and detailed backgrounds which would undoubtedly improve their graphics score and, in turn, lead to more positive reviews.
