I purchased the DLC packs for the game but the content is not downloading into the game is there something im missing

i just got the game and when i click the login button it just takes me directly to a loading screen that never finishes. am i doing something wrong?

I have friends who like to made models in various 3d modeling tools, and I'm sure they could produce a unity asset bundel or other type of STL with content....can this be imported into the game? Can the DM host this cotent on their own 'cloud' space such that players who join will be able to see these assets?...
