Sorry Key has been taken

The game can't be played at fullscreen, at least on my monitor resolution. Also, it doesn't recognize properly that resolution. Some advice? I'm running it on Windows 8 64 1280x768

I've managed to complete one game so far. However, it randomly crashes the program with the following error: Memory exception (11) attempting to access: 00000000 . Anyone else have this issue? I'm running Windows 8.

As some users have found, here is a possible fix if you are having problems starting Talisman Prologue: Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK. On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings. On the Data Execution Prevention tab... *If* you have "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" selected, then..
