I started a new game after the most recent patch, made it back to scroll road desert and found that I'm sadly still encountering the same problem. Not sure what to try next. I also stopped receiving those hopeful, "Tell us what's going on." emails.

I'm in the same spot. Scrollroad Desert and I can't go beyond the first set of four shrooms. I also can't find any solutions online.
Kinda bummed at this point. I kickstarted this game and just recently had time to start playing :/.

Please email us at support@snowcastle.no we need more details to help us track down what is happening to you. Crash/Freeze bugs are top priority. We don`t have any freezes or crashes on our test rigs, so it is really important with feedback from players.

already mailed twice, not even a response...and in the last post you guys just stopped answering. the only sad thing is that i can't refund the game!!

We will resolve this for you one way or the other.

I'm getting this bug too. After the first set of mushrooms I hit the fork. if I go south it immediately freezes as soon as I cross the crack right there and my screen goes black for a second before coming back still frozen.

Same thing happens if I head north, except i can make it all the way to just past the three ghosts there. It freezes when the path starts to widen just after them and does the same thing as in the south.

Wrote now with the support, maybe the data i sent them can help to resolve that awful bug for atleast some of the others who suffers from it.

We are working to solve this problem. It is a very annoying bug as we can`t replicate it in house so getting help from [ENTE]aufmKopf is very helpful!

I'm having this same issue. I'm sending you the output_log.txt and my system information.

We are much closer to solving this now. Much thanks to [ENTE]aufmKopf. We will keep you posted!

Please report here if you are playing with a controller or the keyboard.
(We have one report of Giotech VX-2 Wired causing a crash)


Also, please check if you have the latest graphics card driver. If you didn't and an update helped fix the crashes please let us know. (Got some reports on that too)

I'm using a keyboard on windows 7 and my drivers are up to date according to device manager.

I'm using a keyboard, windows 10 pro, latest drivers card upadate. the game still freeze at Scrollroad Desert.

I did some tests, and I discovered that when you kill all the monsters before you move on, the chance of crash's reduces a lot (Doing this I was able to kill the 2 bosses, but further on the new part of the map I crashed again.), if you keep trying to go ahead on the map without killing any monsters in the beginning, the game immediately crash when you go down or right of the map going towards the bosses.

you fight all the time only with mushrooms right?
