@Tijder We will absolutely test the Linux version ourselves here as soon as we have time. Currently we are working on a patch for the game for both Xbox and Steam.
@Biggs, Totally understand that. Thanks for the reply :)
In any case i can report the game launches for me.
System Specs:
Arch Linux 64bit
i5-6500k
AMD Radeon R9 380 2GB using Mesa(git not stable)
Steam Runtime is enabled
The game does log a libCSteamworks.so error in the development console.
Will test further once i have some time
Mentioning the alpha test for the backers is a good idea, and we will include something in the next Update.
Would that be this issue[github.com]? I experienced that in a game I'm currently beta testing, and replacing libCSteamworks[github.com] made the error message go away (though I can't confirm if it actually fixed anything, since the game I'm testing doesn't have achievements or stats).
See if you can find a file called Disharmonic_stdout.txt or something in /tmp/dumps/. Could contain some useful information if it's there.
In my most recent CTD there was only this in the terminal
"DispatchAsyncEvent backlog, failed to dispatch all this frame. Queue depth: 1327 (1329 input number was)"

Best news outlets for us linuxgamers so far
Also Linux game cast members can really give you some strong support to get you out of a hairy situation coding wise. They know the OS like the back of their hand so their feedback will be usefull ;)
