Jalayirids annexed other Khans without war. [Death & Taxes mod 10.5]
So I was playing Ottomans, years is 1390 and I see as Jalayirids "inherit" all of Persia without any pop up showing up.

Was this some kind of D&T mod feature or what? They collapsed to rebels soon after with Persia, Khiva and Baluchistan emerging. Kchiva somewho got absorbed by Timurids without war as well.

Maybe it's better if you post in the mod's sub-forum at paradox's forums. I don't have experience with the mod, and I'd only be able to advise rolling back to past saves & fast-forwarding to see if you can replicate what happened.

Might have been a regular inheritance (heirless leader dies)... such situations often lead to a personal union but CAN skip straight to inheritance.
