I just purchased WRC 4 and I've got a multitude of problems running it

First things first. The game launches with a notification saying that there's not enough video memory and that the game will malfunction, even though I've got 2 GB card. The game has no sound at all, no sound in menus, races etc, and sound is enabled. The game takes a few minutes to load a profile, and Steam still detects the game as running even though I closed it and there are no background processes, when I click "Stop" it's stuck on "stopping" until I force stop Steam. What do I do? Is there a fix for...
