At what point do you Sacrifice?
I'm trying to get a feel for when most experienced players feel it is worth it to Sacrifice. I have done it before and feel I made a terrible mistake at that point because my Shadow Champion did no damage at all and I lost all progress on my Towers. I was basically starting over. It seems like I should wait and not Sacrifice until I would have enough Valor to make the Champion someone strong right out of the gate. At what point would that be? Thanks in advance.

you should NOT focus on the champion at the start. prioritize the tombs and the shards. champion only becomes severely op much later on tbh

your first few runs will require you to be lucky in your shard drops if you get them.

Thanks for the tip on the shard/books vs. the Champion. But, I'd still like a suggestion on when it might be a good idea to Sacrifice. How much Valor am I seeking for the first Sacrifice given it will put me back to ground zero?

rather than valor you should shoot for 100% chance or more (you can get multiple per chance over 100%) of a shard since those will be your #1 method of making your new runs go faster than a slug in a rush mid december.

points to note on shards. they are COMPLETELY randomized.. only gain exp from levels not completed THAT RUN ( so if you add/swap in a new one mid run it wont level up from earlier stages already done). and they can roll mods that unlock + grant bonuses for end game systems, most importantly automation. if you can land a shard with automation +3 gears you are absolutely set!

think of any other valor/meta progression as icing on the cake until you get a couple shards you can work with

Look for some shards with start lvl and sacrifice when you reach lvl 500. Don't forget to double your valor with crowns. I did it to get lvl 60 with my champion.
From that point on, look for shards with +3 artifacts and upgrade your gold and damage books with your valor.
With crowns, buy champion attribute points to improve attacks per second, maximum level of active tree to improve treasure chest and, of course, maximum level of books.
Always aim for as many crowns as possible. You'll then progress every 500 levels.

Well, that's what I've been doing. Maybe there's a better strategy.

Hi, how does the "Energy" crown upgrade work?
"Gain ether without resetting your progress, cost Reset on Sacrifice"
You get Ether without rebirth? What is the cost and where is the button?
Thanks for answer

Yes, you get Ether without rebirth. The cost increases each time you use it, but the cost is reset with each sacrifice.

OHH
I thought it had a bad description and gave N rebirths without progress reset as an actual upgrade -.-
Who places upgrades in one menu with active buttons without any visual difference. Developers make me feel stupid (maybe I am) :>
