Current Dilemma
Recently, many travelers have noticed the slowdown in the game's update rhythm. Here, we need to be honest with you about the difficulties our team is currently facing:
As a unique game offering a permadeath exploration experience, DongWu is facing challenges in balancing market acceptance and operating costs. Coupled with issues in the game's program stability, balance optimization, and content updates, the project has been running at a loss for quite some time. Currently, only a small number of staff are maintaining the game.

Three new DongWu characters are in production. We promise to do our best to complete and present them to you. However, the update frequency may slow down, with updates approximately every 2 - 3 months.

We're actively reaching out to potential partners, hoping to obtain new resources to support the original update plan.
Maintaining Game Operation
The team is doing everything possible to prevent the game from shutting down, ensuring that players who have invested time can continue to enjoy the game.

Conclusion
"DongWu" started development in March 2021. It has gone through a lot and taken a great deal of time and effort to reach the launch stage. Our team aimed to create a game with a unique feel and a sense of realism. Unfortunately, we haven't done well enough and need to accumulate more experience and skills to present this experience to players.
Our original intention for this startup was to offer players this unique core experience. We believe that people learn to cherish because of loss, and we hoped to convey this idea. However, we haven't struck the right balance between business and art.

However, his manic curiosity led him to forbidden research on "Black Miasma" energy, culminating in a catastrophic accident. Stripped of his title and exiled, he now wanders as a paradox: a genius unbound by ethics, conducting perilous experiments in frenzied states—a fusion of madness and brilliance.
