I was thinking that it would be really cool if city skylines had some sort of telecommunications layer to it where you needed to build telecommunications infrastructure for instance putting in telephone lines Internet cabling etc, and maybe you unlock that type of stuff when you build your first cable Internet company building. And then you unlock DSL at a particular number of citizens served, cable at another milestone, and finally fiber.

And then for an added dynamic perhaps when you reach a certain number of citizens who live outside of your telecom infrastructure coverage area, you unlock satellite Internet and TV service.
