No Save Feature

I get trying to use the community as your QA testers, but if you're not even going to make a working save game feature in your "demo" you're just wasting everyone's time.

This game needs a ton of engine optimization and UX improvement before I could even think to recommend Nested Lands to any of my friends.

Next time you release an updated demo make sure the players/testers can save their progress.

Hi, you can already save your game both from the Village Center (the bell) and while sleeping. Did it not save for you?

I was able save but when i got back on it had reset to an earlier save file and i lost a lot of my progress.

This is normal, honestly. Demos of most games don't even have save carryover between miniscule updates. There are only a few hours of playtime, and it's intended as a test, not a full playthrough. As for "before I could recommend it," this is a 0.7 release meant for system testing and bug reports.
