it surely is not woke, its "normal"... but i had to refund it because it sucks compared to thps 1+2. its a noticably inferior version of thps 1+2 with new levels and a handful of new skaters. the profile and profile customization is gone (it was nice in thps 1+2 with all the logos and your player level), the entire main menu system is unnecessarily worse than thps 1+2, the challenges "tab" sucks compared to thps 1+2, the game has like 80-90% of all apparel skate decks etc. just copied over from thps 1+2 (seriously) and they only made like 10-20% of new apparel.. the custom character faces are 100% copied over, there isn't even one new face for your custom character compared to thps 1+2...

gameplaywise it feels identical to thps 1+2 and thats great, but ultimately its the inferior game for twice the price... once its 50% off i'm back for the digital deluxe :D

It's not woke, it's both woefully undercooked compared to 1+2 and there's weird censorship.

Private Carrera, Daisy, and Demoness have all been removed. Blood effects are no longer present. The Neversoft girls on Cruise Ship, the guy taking a whiz on Canada, and Chuck's profanity when you get him unstuck have also been removed. The goat joke on Carnival would've likely been removed had they not chosen to remove the entire level instead. Also, the attempted exclusion of Bam before Tony stepped in.

Those are just some things I've noticed so far. The original games also included various 420 references and some voice lines that might be considered too edgy now. I'm unsure if all of those things are still present, but I doubt it.

Before anyone mentions Leo Baker, I have zero issue with that. That's an accurate depiction of a real person who 100% deserves to be included.

64 reviews during an advanced access period, oh no the humanity. It's almost like the game isn't fully released yet.

i don't care if its woke or not (whoever says its woke is a moron anyway. what is woke about this game ?? i don't see anything...) i care about content/product quality and this game has less of it than THPS 1+2 had 5 whole years ago. despite that this game is more expensive than thps 1+2 was 5 years ago. its a bad quality/price ratio, its a massively inferior version of THPS 1+2, nothing more and nothing less.

hm alright thanks, don't like it if they cut content for silly reasons tho.. they did same with some older games i loved its so stupid to do so only because someone might be offended or stuff like that.. and blood could have been a option.. guess i'll try it on gamepass before buying

It's a difficult criticism to defend. All of the removals are petty issues on their own that could be overlooked, but as a whole it creates a completely sanitised experience with none of the punk. But it's so easy to dismiss it as 'don't complain it's only X', when in reality its A and B and C and D and E and...
