LumineNight is not perfect but it’s a fun detective game!
It had great puzzles and meh... puzzles.
Mostly the puzzles were sometimes a pain because of the bad controls/UI implementation.
I enjoyed having a drawing notepad feature, it was useful!
Also, no manual saves! It’s not that much of a pain but still it’s not nice to
not have the option to save and quit when comfortable.
The game has a " just started learning Unity" feel to it.
The second half of the game also feels poorly translated and makes ending lose the impact a bit.
But overall, it was a good story with some hints on the sequel.
Overall, I wish the developer team success and hope to see another game with improvements in UI/UX,
localization and better music and sound effects diversity!

I very much enjoy mystery and puzzle games and can honestly say I loved this one. There definitely were some hiccups in the English translation, but nothing to the point where I couldn't understand what was being said or what was meant. Backgrounds are colorful and well done and most of the puzzles feel pretty fair. I did look up some hints on walkthrough videos to give me a pointer in some cases, but that's because I'm impatient. The characters were generally likable, the designs were very nice, and I really enjoyed Selen in particular. She's cute and smart and has enough teenage ignorance that it really hit hard when she had to deal with a situation she was unprepared for. She was tough without being super dismissive all the time, which is refreshing.

And as for the ending, no spoilers, but I absolutely want to get my hands on a sequel to continue the story, especially after that final scene after the credits. I'll be waiting, Spickasoft! Thanks so much for the mystery!
