Where the **** is the Radiant Silvergun Steam port?

Seriously how much longer are we expected to wait? Ikaruga came out on Steam in February 2014, it has been over a year at this point. I realize Treasure is a small company but what does it take to port something like this over to PC? Radiant Silvergun is one of the best shooters/shmups of all time in my opinion and porting it to Steam would finally "eternalize" it forever.

The only form of playing RS is on the Saturn console, Saturn emulator (crap performance last I tried) and the Xbox 360. Having RS come out on Steam would expose it to a MASSIVE audience and finally have it earn the respect it deserves.

The complete radio silence from Treasure is baffling at best. Hire someone to do PR, something, because leaving everyone in the dark is not the way to do it.

I think Treausre mentioned in their twitter when Ikaruga was released on Steam that they would not stop with Ikaruga, and wanted to port their other games to steam (Namely Radiant Silvergun) and even make brand new games.

I'd be down for some Guardian Heroes, too, or pretty much anything else they care to put on Steam.

Microsoft Studios is the publisher for Radiant Silvergun HD on XBLA.
They've already brought some of their published games from X360 / ONE / Mobile to Steam, like "Dust: An Elysian Tail" , "Ori and the Blind Forest" and "Halo Spartan Strike/Assault".
I believe it's not a matter of "if" but rather of "when" RSG will be released here, either by MS Studios or Treasure themselves.
For the record, Ikaruga is also on XBLA.

I'm actually a little concerned that the fact that this thing has sold only about 65K copies (source: SteamSpy) may have put a damper on Radiant Silvergun's chances.

On another note, I'd also like to see Terra Diver on PC in the west but that's not even a Treasure game so that's just wishful thinking on my part.

I asked them via Twitter what the status was on Radiant Silvergun coming to Steam but I've heard nothing back. I'd imagine it will happen in due course, but Treasure seem to work at their own pace.

The kind of player that would play may already own several versions from its original release (like me) and do not need to buy it again (i bought again, twice). Furthermore, many who rebuy it already did so on XBLA so..

..65k on steam is a VERY VERY good number for ikaruga! Sales numbers above 50k is promising for their size and scope of games, not to mention they do not market towards a mainstream audience. You also need to consider the combined sales of ikaruga on the recent "rerelease" platforms. To me, almost all numbers are encouraging.

We have to play for free on emulation, sadly.

Dang. 20 years since Radiant Silvergun came out and we still need broken emulators or a RRoDbox 360 in order to play this game and not lash out a ludicrous amount of money on a ♥♥♥ Saturn, RSG disc & RGB cables. Reality sometimes sucks.

I mean, it's awesome that this game has been ported to just about every platform out there, but why no ports for RSG? It's time. We need RSG. Please!
