One of the reviews mentions having to harm a dog, and that it's an unavoidable action/choice. Is this true? Make fun of me all you want, but that's a deal breaker for me and I'd like to know if I'll regret picking up the game.

Someone asked if there would be controller support all the way back in Aug. 27, 2023, before the game was released. **UPDATE (2/28/2024):** Finished the entire game, got all collectibles, hidden items, and achievements. Unfortunately, you will either have to wait for controller support in order to play this *properly* on Steam Deck, or, you can create and configure a Controller Profile using the Steam Client's built in Controller & Gamepad Profiler. If this game could get some real controller support...
