Qbeh-1: The Atlas Cube
I'm improving the graphics of the game, are you interested?
I don't know if there are any people who still play this game, but I plan to create a graphics "mod" using ReShade shaders, for a few days I've been trying to improve the graphics of the game by adding
Reflexes (SSR)
Global illumination
Ambient occlusion (SSAO)
For now these are the most important ones, but I'll see if I can add more in the future... and I have to say I'm loving them!
Anyway, let me know if you're interested in replaying this wonderful game but with improved graphics!
Even just one comment with a simple "+1" is enough for me haha :gumo:
Below I show you 1 screenshot to help you understand!

+1 :golden:
Sorry I'm late to seeing this, but I'm always interested in anything going on with the game!
ReShade is looking good, brightens the whole thing up, only rough bit is the edges of the cubes having a slightly harsh red line to them.
And imgsli is 100% the way to go for comparative screenshots, check it:

Keep tinkering, would like to see where it can go.
I didn't know that site, thanks for letting me discover it!
The settings are still experimental, in fact the red halo around the cubes is exaggerated, but I inserted it on purpose to simulate the bounce of the sunlight on the red cube, therefore creating the red halo on the cubes next to it Example[prnt.sc]
I will do it, I'm a bit busy these days due to the move to the new house, but when I can I will continue the experiments.
I plan to create different reshade profiles, so as to use the most ideal profile based on the level chosen (it's also an excellent excuse to replay the whole game haha)
That's all good, and do you think you could get the different profiles to load per stage automatically?
I don't know reshade very well, I don't know if you can create a script that automatically changes the profiles based on the level in the game, I don't think it's possible, but you can use the hotkeys to change them without opening the reshade menu :gumo:
Hmm, maybe some sort of on transition trigger for the hotkey then, but that's out of the scope of what you're after.
