Also, don't forget that you have more than one save slot. ;)
Thing is i haven't played these games since i was a kid and want to take it slow. I don't think i'll have the will the play through it again after i beat it as much as i adore the game, a shame really.
As long as i don't have to speedrun the first one, getting to Kain won't be too much of a pain i guess. Thanks for the heads up on Melchiah i think i missed that too. I'll check every achievement now properly not to miss anything until the end and save those 2 for a small repeat.
No thank you.
I guess I'm not 100%ing either.... because the game isn't fun if you rush it. This is a game that's very fun to savour and enjoy.... I don't want to just blitz through it. XD
There's a similar achievement in FF9, to get Excalibur II, which requires getting to a place near the end of the game in a short amount of time.
And I've just never wanted to do it. That's okay n' all, I just won't get the achievement. I don't mind.
I just don't enjoy rushing through things, makes them feel more like work than play.
In terms of SR2 under 6 hours, that's actually not that hard. If you again, skip the cutscenes, know where you are going and generally avoid most fights I think I got it down to just over 2 hours. The time killer in SR2 besides the cutscenes is if you get stuck on a puzzle. I highly recommend giving the game a second run through if you want to do this one, just so you can familiarise yourself with the map and puzzles. It's easy to get turned around in these games and not realise it.
The Janos Aerie in 15 minutes and the Groundling Demon are probably the two hardest to get. The former because it's tricky, and you need to have a planned out route, the later because getting it to spawn is a huge pain.
It's still a bit of a trek to get back there but better than starting over.
For SR2 i got the 6 hours achievements on my first playthrough, it's really not that hard if you run past all the fights you can.
