Alpha 21, my first game on a new release, on the New Oroville server. Spent my first 3 days in game frantically searching for a cooking pot to boil water. When I finally found one I was ravaged by dysentery and near death from dehydration. Hard to describe the exhilaration and relief when I finally spotted the long-sought cooking pot sitting on the counter in a POI. Once I had fresh water, the game was on, a frenzy of looting, reading magazines, hitting up the traders for the coveted books to level up my skills for building vehicles and workstations. The game is a definite survival grind now, and rewards prioritizing and planning ahead. There's even some chances to take in the scenery:

it takes a long time to load and it says loading config
and then when he logs in, there's a ping, either on my friend's servers or on his servers
what is it?
