"sooner than expected" Lies
You guys said almost 5 months ago that cross platform will be here sooner than expected in the 4th quarter well here we are virtually 1 month away from the 4th quarter of the year ending. Where the hell is cross platform.

Well, Dec 30th is still "sooner than expected"...
Also, there are no "you guys" on this Forum - it's a Steam Forum, not a TFP/Dev Forum...

They posted (about a week ago) that:
* We're getting an Optimization Patch "by the Holidays" (so prob. Christmas)
* The v2.0 Storm's Brewing Update will be released "this Winter" (so it got pushed by 1Q)

The "X" and "FaceBook" excerpts are in this thread:

Road Maps: It's a GOAL, NOT a Promise...

The Time will Pass MUCH Faster if you Hold Your Breath until it's Released. Try it.

TFP failing to deliver something in a timely manner? Shocking :lunar2019laughingpig:

If it happens before 2030 it'll be sooner than I expected, so the statement would be true.
There are two ways to live life, as it is and as one wishes. Best of luck.

To be fair, it has been working for months. Sony and Microshaft are the ones holding it back right now.

The plan has been Q4 2024 since the first announcement. As long as they release before January 1 they are still in the window, and not pushing it back.

At least this time they're being super vague, and not giving estimated dates they won't hit.
Excerpt from the official road map :

THESE DATES ARE ROUGH ESTIMATES AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE

That's just the reality of this industry btw.

Any time estimate for a feature by the True Pimps you need to add 6-18 months for it to release in reality. Can be longer. (bandits* cough (first announced for Alpha 17).

Pretty much. 7 Days isn't the only Early Access PC title that decided to branch out to console. Getting that market share and growing means having to jump through their hoops for quality control.

That's why everyone should be a PC gamer.

Didn't some of the dev pass away resently? Maybe thats why its delayed :(

This.

Players caught in the crossfire of business lawyers arguing for exclusivity.

Until then, I will have to settle for popping off "Businessman" zombies. :steamhappy:

Meanwhile other games have crossplay between Ps5, Xbox, and PC with no issues. And neither Sony nor Microsoft are eyeing this backwater game as an "exclusive". Just stop.

Meanwhile many other game dont have crossplay between ps5, xbox, and pc because there are issues. Just stop.

Trolls don't even try using real logic anymore. The Western education systems are a complete joke.

As evidenced by the need to argue that this particular game needs to fit all categories.

You are correct, Americans are dumb.
LOL im just saying dont promise your players something then not follow through with it period. Not just that but re-release a game and then states all this stuff. After the road map came out they tweeted stating cross-play would be here before the expected road map date. Yes we still have 1 month left for them to release it according to the road map. But they advertise cross play all over there store pages and yet there is non.
