any mods to get old particle effects/remove current ones?
The title. v1 particle effects like explosion and cop vomit absolutely tank my frames even on lowest graphics. It used to be only the cops acid puddle gave me some lag, but now the projectile and such does aswell to the point of unplayability.

IDK about any Mods, but you might want to wait just a bit on that...

TFP announced on their X/Facebook accounts (in the last week or so) that:
* We're getting a Patch around the "holidays"
They didn't say which ones, but Christmas is the "most likely".
* It's also promising Major Optimizations

And, the v2.0 Update should release in "The Winter" (so, likely 2025Q1)
