Ok....
This story lasts for many years already.
- FPS drop from 144 to 30-40 in Dishong tower
- random FPS drops and freezes
- FPS drops and stuttering due to zombie groups
- dumb "find the random book" skills system
P.S. you are welcome. Enjoy.
Bert yes game still runs v poopy for being so old and i dont think its going to get much better. Though FPS issues really stop being a problem if you run a solo game from your machine and restrict yourself to 6k or 8k map size and dump some of the more unnecessary settings. just ya know my two cents.
Still not enough? Go find another city and another Crack A Book. Loot some mailboxes and newspaper dispensers along the way.
Doing that 3 times should net you close to 200 magazines & perk books, most of which will be related to whatever skill you put points into, and take maybe 1 hour of game play.
You are correct in that the magazine system is a bit silly, but not because it is difficult rather because it is so easy.
Are you trying to play in 4K with a 4070 and mindlessly put everything on ultra?
@Pain Weasel The magazines suck because it turned the game into a min/max magazine searching simulator. It´s always the same, look for a crack a book and you can´t go past a single mailbox. It sucks. And in MP you can add cloth searching simulator.
If running around after the world has been destroyed spending your time checking mailboxes was good enough for Kevin Costner its good enough for us.
"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night nor zombie apocalypse stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" - unofficial motto of the USPS.
seriously though, it is a goofy, boring mechanic but it isn't difficult or even totally random.
Well, not anymore...
Those are so ANCIENT and should be Thrown Away Immediately.
Get yourself a NEW RTX 5090 to fix all of your problems (and drain your bank account).
I just wish SLI was still a thing so I could be rockin' TWO $2500 cards...
Hi, dumbmaster speaking:
- If you play now alone or in a group, you'll never be a killing machine in a few days, for the same result you must visit all POI's you can, but with the issue of daytime, so, game became harder.
- With my potato, i7-4970 + 1070 gtx, lowering specs and didnt have any real issue, maybe the only complain i have is lowering detail of strip zombie and cant watch her with detail.
- Aha, so because the game is more lively with spawning random zed parties and avoiding a dull game is bad? interesting.
- Then hit other body parts, with a tier 6 weapon and full mods, there will be no issue anymore.
- Balance your game, if you had those zeds on T2 and T3 missions at these days, then your minimum gamestage was at least 150-200, why balance? if you put 5 million % of loot chance, is normal your current game scaled outrageous.
Hope next time, you'll find anything suitable for your taste, and try mods if vanilla lack of something.
11,114 - Very Impressive.
However, I'm not sure "win" means what you think it does.
BTW: I have similar hours in No Man's Sky. To bad we can't teach PhD Level Gaming...
I agree I just wish they would increase the challenge some. The first 4 difficulty levels are like hand-holding story mode. I'd like to see more zeds with high damage ranged attacks, and more variety of attack types. The crouch+leg sweep was a good start.
Honestly I simply wouldn't play a game that I don't think is fun. I've bought AAA titles and stopped playing them after 1 hour, and never looked back. Mistakes happen.
