well with just recently downloding steamvr and steamlink from my oculus quest 2 all that happends is lag lag and more lag idk why this is happing im on windows 10 and have everything requaried for it to be able to let me play vrchat with steam vr im able to get into the loading screen of it but then kicked out cause of how bad the lag was

Make sure you have the ethernet cable connected to your PC and router. Also it's best to be in the same room as the router for best connection.

When I updated Steam VR It Now Only Lets me use it for a minute before completely freezing up.

how do you get this to work for AMD users

i am getting a disk write error when i try and launch steam vr and i tryed un/re installing it i need help

please add steam vr compatilblity back to macbook.

yea same it does that for me to it it just started doing it they need to fix it rn now it kicks me out like every 10 mins idk if it a crash or it crash my game because it's so lagy

another day, another broken update. steamvr freezes on launch immediately, overlays launch but fail to find ipc. cant even disable drivers, just a black box where vrmonitor should be.

PLEASE find a way to make link work between quest 2 and Linux! I've been waiting ages to get rid of windows

I use SteamVR through Virtual Desktop on my Quest 2, ever since the update on steam and my Quest i been having connection issues with steam vr constantly saying "unexpected error" It literally crashed 5 times in a matter of minutes

Somewhere along the line, the keyboard broke. Again. It's back to skipping inputs if you type at anything of a reasonable pace, and it does it bad.

Millions of dollars flowing in from Steam revenue, hundreds in headcount, years in development, and the keyboard still doesn't work. Why????? This is so embarassing. Makes the entire SteamVR effort pointless.

Focus on the keyboard, get it right, make sure it doesn't break. PLEASE. Or everything you're doing goes up in smoke.

Manually uninstalling SteamVR and reinstalling it helped me solve the Quest2 "unexpected generic useless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ errorcode" problem.

his update is busted i think. i treat my valve index like my child it was the first thing i bought with my first pay check. i decided to plug it in and used it for the night and didn't do anything extreme with it, when i was done i took it off my head then placed it on my desk, closed all apps then turned my pc off and went to sleep. i turned on my pc and used it for about 15 minutes on a game and was sitting the whole time. i closed all apps and then was like oh nvm i have more free time than i thought so i went to use it again and welp now no matter what i try because ♥♥♥♥ me i have tried everything but now steam vr wont recognise my vr (error108) no matter the usb slot it aint recognised
