Don't know if it's an update related issue or not but I noticed that me and my friends had our right controllers quit working last night at the same time w/ index after the update...

after updating the game, it stopped working on the Pico 4 helmet, HL Alyx/Hl-2vr/Serious sam TSR VR games, everywhere the game freezes and crashes when starting

Dear Valve, please finally fix the bluetooth implementation so that we can update the knuckles firmware and the base station firmware on Linux. The fact that Steam VR detects these are old but won't update them for whatever reason is nonsense.

Also finally fix async reprojection and the Index's cameras.

I wish they would add performance optimization settings or fake trackers like Virtual Desktop.

This update appears to have broken everything for me. Initially the audio broke because my streamer couldn't find the audio device and now it just crashes everytime I try to run it. I tried using the "previous version" under Betas and that crashes without starting too.

It looks like it's uploading crash dumps, so hopefully it gets sorted quickly.

when i try to go in steamlink it only shows two screens and i cant do anything

Got almost the same issue with ALVR + SteamVR 2.5.4 -- streaming session cannot start because of "Handshake error for 5245.client: Cannot find audio device which name contains "pipewire"". Downgrading to "previous release" of SteamVR solved the problem.

Fyi steam, this version breaks something with ALVR.

Just came looking for this issue, trying to load up steam VR and right index controller wont connect (it turns green and stays on, but now showing up in VR or the SteamVR window, only a grey quest controller. (Using Quest Pro with Index Controllers and trackers)

Такая же ситуация, весь день просрал на перепрошивку и на то что бы понять что дело не в шлем и ПО а в обновлении стим VR
