Steam link meta quest volume button issues

I don't know which update did this (I've tried rolling back to 2.5.5) but now when using steam link with a meta quest (I've tried 2 and 3) the volume buttons on the headset don't configure the volume anymore, but open the steam UI instead. Is this a bug or is there some option that I just can't find?

Thanks for reporting. This behavior was unintentional for when controllers are connected (though we intend for this to be the correct behavior when using steam link without controllers).

We've shipped a change in the latest Steam Link app beta to address this. You can opt into the beta by clicking this link: https://www.meta.com/s/1hti7gedQ
