SteamVR

SteamVR

Floating in the air.
I've tried all solutions. Unfortunately I do not want to reinstall windows as a last resort. I am currently using Quest 2 headset + Index Controllers + Virtual Desktop. I have come across a problem where in SteamVR I am gradually floating.

I have already done all that I can from Reddits, Google and ChatGPT. If there is any other solutions please help out.

Things I've done:

Open OVR and tried resetting "Fix Floor" in OVR settings while leaving one controller on the ground.

Resetting Oculus boundary/play-space area.

Resetting the computer + Headset.

Every single re-calibrating you can think of.

SteamVR developer quick reset.

Deleting Steamvr.vr setting in files.

Obvious uninstalling and re-installing SteamVR.

Have you tried looking into Virtual Desktop? It could be the culprit here, and probably is, never used it tho so I can't personally help with that. You can also try calibrating via SteamVR itself, there are more settings for steamvr you can find via the SteamVR overlay that don't appear in VR too.

I've done everything in SteamVR overlay. Like i've touch the offset setting and everything. Unfortunately no luck there. Virtual Desktop has never gave me any issues up until now.
Even tried recentering your headset? By holding the oculus/menu button after booting or pressing the recenter button on steamvr? It could also be some kind of misaligment from your Index controllers, try looking into this https://store.steampowered.com/app/3368750/Space_Calibrator/ or OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator.
