that OpenXR config are not present from the vr itself, i had to switch to desktop with the headset connected, i found how to change it somewhere
When you run steam vr switch to desktop and then there should be somewhere a little box window saying something like steam vr running, click on that little box windows top left, there you see three “_” hamburger letter click on that and there you select settings. Thats the new location of open xr
i now have haptic feedback on every steamvr game, not just beatsaber
Okay, it's super simple.
Open up SteamVR through Steam - if you don't see it in your list you'll need to make sure that Tools are ticked in the drop down at the top of your library.
On your desktop, go into the little SteamVR window that pops up. It'll have icons for your headset, controllers etc. On this window, click the three lines in top left corner. Then click Settings.
In the Settings screen, go to the OpenXR option. In here it'll tell you what the current default is, and if it isn't SteamVR already, you'll have a button that says "Set SteamVR as OpenXR Runtime"
Click that button, you might need to confirm it with Windows first. Then just give your games/vr setup a restart just to be safe, and away you go.
Hopefully that's helped! I'm replying 'cause this sorted the issue for me as well and the more that see it, the better.
