Probably a good time to make an ARM-based port. Or you know what, there is already a Amazon Fire version. Use that as a starting base.

Apple has a long history of releasing updates for OS X that completely break old software with no concern for their third party developers or users. Hopefully they didn't uproot something critical to the game's functionality, as they've done that in the past.

Nobody should support Apple. They're a scummy company that has no respect for developers or consumers alike, and treats third parties like absolute trash. If game devs are going to start doing ARM ports, they should avoid targeting Apple hardware specifically, and should target mainstream Linux, not Mac OS.

Absolutely. Dropping 32-bit support was what made me drop them altogether for me, but even before and after that they've continually trashed any effort to actually PRESERVE software compatibility. What's the point of developing for a platform if your software will stop working in a few years anyway?

I appreciate you letting us know you are working on a patch. I've seen plenty of developers release a game for Mac and then not work on any updates when new OS's are released and it won't run.
