Finally the bricks are out of the box now and we can unveil our brand new project: LEGO® Bricktales! After building bridges with our beloved Bridge Constructor franchise for more than 10 years, it felt like a logical step to bring our builder approach to the next level. And believe me, we couldn’t be happier to do this in collaboration with the LEGO Group!

But don't get me wrong, LEGO Bricktales is not a game about building bridges with LEGO bricks. No, it's much more! It is a digital adventure, where players follow a charming story across 5 different colorful diorama biomes (a dense and lush jungle, a sun-drenched desert, a bustling city corner, a towering medieval castle and tropical Caribbean islands) all fully built from LEGO bricks. As you explore these diverse worlds, we want you to unlock your creativity by building your own solutions to the many puzzles you will face.

In each diorama, there are LEGO minifigures who need your help. While exploring the environments, you will discover a variety of construction spots with their own sets of bricks and it’s up to you to figure out a build that will work. Use the intuitive brick-by-brick building mechanic to solve puzzles and bring your solutions to life. The scope of these puzzles range from purely aesthetic creations such as market stands and music boxes, up to functional physics-based puzzles like building cranes, gyrocopters and - of course - bridges. There must always be a bridge. 😉

We have a very special announcement for you today that you would certainly not have expected from the Bridge Constructor series: A decade after the initial launch Bridge Constructor is finally receiving its tabletop adaptation with Bridge Constructor: Breaking Point! ːsteamhappyː

We have partnered with Maestro Media[maestromedia.com] (The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls, Tapeworm), game designer Jeb Havens (Critical Role’s Uk’otoa, Z-Man Games' Burrows) and illustrator Charlie Hill[mendolaart.com] (Coca-Cola, A&E Network) to offer you Bridge Constructor: Breaking Point - an easy-to-learn and difficult to master game of tile placement, card management, and pushing your luck.

Suitable for ages 10 and up with 2 - 4 players, the heart of the tabletop game remains true to the original’s concept: engineer the best bridge you can with limited supplies and cross vehicles successfully. The gameplay is half puzzle and half press your luck. Each round you have the choice to pick a bridge tile and either continue to strengthen or rebuild your bridge or cross your vehicles. Choose from Super Light, Light, Medium, or Heavy vehicles that each have their unique points and challenges. Watch out for your fellow engineers though, at any time they might play an event card on you, unleashing devastating damage to your perfectly planned bridge!

Dear bridge builders,

Over the last year, we have sheltered ourselves in our post-apocalyptic bunkers, working closely with the folks at AMC on the next iteration of the Bridge Constructor franchise. Now, we are almost ready to unleash Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead on all the fans and players of both franchises.

And while it’s not quite time to reveal the first gameplay footage, we are thrilled to present the new game reveal live-action trailer, which made its debut at the gamescom: Opening Night Live presentation, hosted by Geoff Keighley:

Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead will be released later this year across all major systems. So, stay tuned for the first gameplay footage coming up in the near future!
