I'd like to initialize my save data.

It seems that a lot of updates have been made since I last played, and I'd like to start over from the beginning. Is there a way to initialize my save data?

Google how to remove steam save files. It involves finding the game folder under your steam ID on your HDD. You turn off steam cloud and/or your internet adapter, then remove the files, and start a new game. This will re make your local save files. Close game, then turn your internet back on, start game and choose the local file instead of the cloud save. Quick google should have the steps
