Orders are stupid.
I am getting increasingly frustrated with orders. I am 20 hours into the game and deconstructed 31 houses. I do "most" of them very meticulous with getting the most forniture and parts out of them. I got 8 shelfs for deconstructed furniture. 4 of them full with premium furniture which NEVER appear in orders. There is stuff I haven´t touched since my first hour. Yes, sometimes there's the obligatory lamp or a kitchen piece, but I don't think I've ever seen a dresser, desk, wardrobe, bed or table. Sometimes they're poor quality, but even that's very rare. Plus I have actually NEVER sold a stove or a wasching machine of any quality. What is that? Most orders are just absurd numbers of chairs, bricks, boxes, tv´s or sht like 8 water heaters plus some trash white bed.

A better system would've been using warehouse inventory list to post items for sale on a website and then customers bidding on items.

You make a good point, I don't recall having sold any of those items you list... Pretty sure I've sold stoves but I think from your whole list that is literally all... Input from dev would be good here...

Also very much agree that selling based on our current inventroy should definitely be an option. Even just a flea market type sale option with a low markup of say 20% (poor customers pay 30%) It would at least stop us from sitting on items for weeks at a time without them ever selling... Maybe have a countdown so the flea market option is only available after a week to prevent people bringing everything back from a jhob for guaranteed instant sale sor something?
I get orders for stoves, beds, dressers, desks, wardrobes, tables. I rarely ever get orders for water heaters despite having like 10 rares and 4 premium.
what annoys me is when orders want like 30 pallets of bricks, how are we supposed to do that...

ive came across orders where its impossible to do simply because their isnt a big enough truck to fit everything they want

Its like half this game is fun and the other half is a hassle. Orders always do one of the following:
-one or more items missing from your inventory, lost rep
-too many poor orders for crap nobody collects (common, planks, windows, bricks)
-orders just all mixed up, no auto sort (or at least appears to be), like why show me orders that need 10 pallets of bricks when I have 1 in my inventory, there's no way I'm going to go collect 9 more pallets in a day....for $263 or some unreasonable dollar amount.

On top of the order system needing a revamp, other things:
-freaking let me walk at normal pace when carrying items, I understand the realism, but this just detriments the gameplay.
-let me SEE THROUGH objects when carrying something that takes up 95% of my screen like a common washer for crying out loud.
-boxed items need to be highlighted when picking for an order, I have like 9 furniture shelf sections, show me where the ONE rare penant light is so I dont have to pull out the scanner and scan every single smaller blue box.

Man this game could be so great if they just fixed these QOL and featured things.

I have 19 furniture shelves in my warehouse. I have three shelves each dedicated to six different categories (some combined):

Bookshelf/Display Cabinet/Desk
Kitchen Cabinets
Lights
Bed/Washbasin/Shower
Dresser/Wardrobe
Coffe Table/Table/RTV Shelf

For each category, I have one shelf dedicated to common, one to rare, and one to premium. Once you organize it in your warehouse, then it's easy to know what shelf to go to.

The 19th shelf sits next to the loading/unloading dock, and I can quickly unload all furniture boxes into it. Then I edit the warehouse, drag that shelf to the other side of the warehouse, and then it's a short walk to put things onto respective shelves. Then back to edit the warehouse and drag the empty shelf back to the dock.

Also, the orders ever rarely want Small Item Containers. 2's been sitting on the shelf since Day 1. I'm about container 26. I've got 2 shelves for small item containers.

I only have Permit 2.

And then the order wants a premium couch. I've yet to see one in a Tier 1 or 2 contract that wasn't a client item. In other words, if you want to complete the order, you have to take contract penalties. And let's not forget, why are "wealthy clients" only wanting 1 item for $100.

Like an above reply mentioned, why not have clients order from our inventory instead of requesting items we don't have in stock. Small items become useless when you can't even sell them separatley (Steam won't correct the word).

Speaking of items, are there even furniture and home good stores in this fictional city? It's always the case of "client is moving out. take or destroy those items." If it's not a full demolition job.

My warehouse is almost always full.. I've got premium and rare stuff galore.. But never any good orders to fill it.. And I don't touch poor clients unless they are paying more then $250. The last two jobs I just destroyed everything... I also broke my heart because I had to destroy a full set of premium cabinets, two armchairs, and a TV.

I hate how some people are looking for basic lighting fixtures about half the time, since I just break that ♥♥♥♥ for being cheap Ikea garbage.

Personally, a second delivery gate would make most sense. I've just upgraded the WH to Tier 2...and the blueprint shows a second delivery gate. But there's no second delivery gate included. Nor are there extra pallets for larger furniture and appliances.

And yet the blue print SPECIFICALLY shows them there.

Whats going on guys?

It seems to me that your approach to this game is somewhat like playing darts blindfolded and in another room from the board.

SORT IT OUT.
Ever since we all started, the order system has been very messed up. I can only do some of the very first few missions on the list and the I scroll down and sometimes I can complete some of the missions at the bottom of the list. I've never been able to do any of the missions in the middle of the list. The amounts are crazy. I've seen some quantities that are crazy and make no sense. I think alot of people have been complaining about the order system for a while with no tweaks by the DEV team. Maybe they are re-working the whole order system and we'll have a large update in the near future.
