Disappearing pallets

Disappearing pallets is one of the down sides of what is a very enjoyable game to play. Has anyone determined if there is a limit to the pallets or is it just a glitch in the game?

I meet the following bug. Some shelfs are partly sink lower than loor hiding part of the lower lewel of the shelf (doors, goods, windows, bricks). The bug hides the lowest lewel of bricks shelf disallow access to them and to buying of amptu pallets for bricks. The cure is to buy addition bricks shelf.
