An odd little icon of 2000s pc gaming that I was never any good at. I thought it was pretty nice that it's still maintained, even if I'm probably never going to touch it again.
If you want to know what it's like, imagine a fighting game, but make it turn-based. Maybe you're thinking about YOMI Hustle right about now—that's good, you're about halfway there.
Now imagine, instead of inputting any kind of, like, attacks, or blocks, or dodges, or *anything* like that, you're actually playing (competitive turn-based) QWOP, and you're in control of every joint in your body, from your ankles, to your glutes, to your neck. And you're fighting not just to get the most damage in on the other guy before it's time, but to keep your balance in breakdance-karate-world and avoid letting anything other than your feet and hands touch the floor or in most matches it's an instant DQ.
Not really for me, but it could be for you. Toribash is wholly unique and executed very well, and it's free download, so all you're really spending here is like 350MB and a little bit of time.
