Dig with Friends not working.
Me and my friend both bought the Dig with Friends DLC but we cannot seem to get it to work.

What's happening is that when one player joins the hosted game their game either crashes, or we join the game without any dwarfs. Only the person that hosted the game has a dwarf and basically plays the game as if it's single player.

I have the base game with the Dig with Friends DLC on a Mac Air. My friend has various DLCs on a Windows machine. Both of us can play the game in single player mode, so the game itself is running fine.

The crash logs on mac are fairly long, but I noticed the following lines in some of them:

Error Formulating Crash Report:
RIP register does not match crashing frame (0x100C6B3CF vs 0x1042C1388)

Crash log on the Windows machine.
