Extracting Sound Effects
Is there anyone that knows how to extract the sound effects? I have a Mac, and I've been trying to research how to do it.

I don't know how exactly. But I was looking for some sound effects from the game, and I eventually just resorted to setting the music volume to zero and recording the sound coming out of my PC.

Unless you have a copy of Clickteam yourself, I can't help you there sadly.

It's long and tedious, but at least it gets the job done

Audacity is useful for it.
And that's actually the only thing I've used Audacity for so far (sound capturing).
Very useful for getting some tracks from Smash Custom Music too.

I have Audacity, so that helps too

No reason, really. Just wanting to get the sound effects since I can't find them anywhere

Well, FP is pure awesomeness, so I really can't blame you.

Well on the windows version, all the music and voice files are stored in the "data" folder. They are .ogg files, and need to be converted through something like audacity to get them in other formats. I did manage to get the shield sounds working as ringtones for my phone, but I can't remember where I got them. If you're curious about getting the sound effects as clean as possible, try checking sounds-resource, search for Freedom Planet, and see if they have anything helpful.
But since most game-audio tools are build for windows, the best thing you can do is to turn off the music and record your gameplay audio with audacity.

Yeah, I knew about the .ogg files too, I was assuming we were talking about in-game sound effects.
I actually have all the .ogg files on my phone, and even have folders for some of my favorite voice clips. Just so I can pop 'em out whenever and annoy people with them.

Surely you mean "grace the world" not "annoy people" with them?

Ah, yes, I am dreadfully sorry.

I imagined that but with Brevon's voice. It really fits, oddly enough!
