We had to share some exciting news with you: Vampire Therapist is officially nominated for a 2025 BAFTA in the Game Beyond Entertainment category!

This is a tremendous honor for our tiny team (one developer and three artists), but we put a ton of research, love, and sexy jokes into our game, and it's extremely gratifying to have that love returned.

This is some wind in our sails as we get into production on our second game, which we're excited to share more about soon.

Howdy, cowpokes! We've got a juicy update for you today.


We're delighted to announce the release of Vampire Therapist: Couples Therapy! Step back into the spurred boots of Sam Walls, now a vampire therapist extraordinaire, and help an undead couple find peace with one another. We're delighted to bring you more of the award-winning Vampire Therapist world and can't wait to you to sink your teeth into our new adventure!

You'll meet two vampires who died fighting oppression with very different takes on what it means to struggle against entrenched political powers. This, of course, cannot be compared to any modern world events.

In between sessions, you'll solve a mystery involving the long-dead composer of Leipzig, Johann Sebastian Bach. It's a musical journey you won't want to miss!

And for those of you who have asked whether Sam will get a chance at love … well, maybe. If you play your cards right.


We fixed a good number of minor bugs in the game, including character positioning cleanups and correcting some font issues. Now we can properly display French characters!


We're already hard at work on pre-production for our next game, and we can't wait to share more with you. We can promise that there's no game like it already!

Today we're releasing the last free story update exploring the history of Andromachos, our mentor and hot vampire stereotype.

What makes a vampire put meaningless murder behind them? What dark secrets can they learn when they don't need to breathe? And what was the deal with Sigmund Freud and his mother? Find out in this story update, and give an elder vampire an emotional release!

I also fixed a bug where resolutions wouldn't save. I listen!!


Little Bat Games is a hyper-tiny studio, with one solo dev and a team of contract artists, editors, and support programmers. But we've been making waves here at the end of the year!

We've picked up an Indie X Award[indiex.online] for Best Game for a Better World and were in their top 5 games among all more than 600 submitted games.

We picked up a German Developer Prize[deutscherentwicklerpreis.de] for Best Game Beyond Entertainment where we got to get all dressed up and do a speech.

And last week, we were added to the BAFTA Game Awards longlist[www.bafta.org] in the Best Game Beyond Entertainment category.

We're honored to be contending with big studios when it took us three tries to make curtains work properly!

We're going on a much-needed vacation, but we've got a patch for you before we get our not-so-eternal rest.


We've added better tutorialization to our minigames, so now it should be easy to jump in and start biting some necks or having some deep thoughts.

And if you're after a more relaxed experience with no minigames at all, you can just skip them and get right to the therapizing.


We got some frequent feedback that our club goths were coming on a little strong. Vampire sexuality is a playful running joke in Vampire Therapist (consent is important!), but it was misread in this case, so we had our friendly bartender cut in a little early.


A couple more fixes just for your enjoyment.

* Club sound propagation is corrected in one location
* Character positioning improved during dance scene
