Game runs badly even on my fairly high spec PC
I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue.. the game is literally just, clunky and horrible to play? Everything flickers and glitches out. I had high hopes but after looking at it for just a few mins it felt slow, clunky and horrible. I'm running an i5 2500k, 8gb of corsair xms3 and an asus gtx 770 oc edition gpu.

I really want to play this game, and feel it has potential, but as it lies, it feels pretty horrible and I don't want to play at all. I'm running max with v sync on, i lowered to minimal settings and it still ran the same.

I hope this is down to beta only, and that it'll be fixed? Does anyone else seem to have an issue with this, or is it just me.

glad to hear its not me, nice pc specs too ^^
I just got my 770 and it works amazingly well in games like tomb raider, metro etc, was a bit of a let down on here. Was just checking it wasn't only me.

It's really choppy/flickery even with anti-a and vsync on :/

Yeah its probably just because its beta, the problem for me is, it runs fine in fullscreen but they dont have my resolution, soo i have to play windowed, and when i play windowed it gets choppy.

i7 3770 3.40 GHz, 16GB ram, GTX 660 ti 3 GB, i play on high with look dist at 1.00 with out much lag get ok fps, when i turn the look dist to 4.00 game runs choppy, so not so bad

I'll try turning the distance down and see if it makes any difference to gameplay, i've had mine on max.

CPU I-5 3330/ Video gtx 650ti 2GB/Ram 8GB DDR3, settings on high with distance set to 4. Runs great with no choppiness or any other problems.

My system is actually less powerful than most of the rigs you're describing, yet the game runs smoothly for me. Odd.

Yeah i'm getting this problem I can run every other game fine but Nether, this is also happening to me with DayZ Standalone so I really do think its just Beta Games.

Same problem here, game runs buttery smooth, 60fps, on low and all post-process effects enabled, but if i just bump that up to medium i get choppy frames and 20fps.
Tried to run it on medium quality with a decent draw distance (2), and it just destroyed everything I love.

Here's a quick fix that works for me. I usually get around 25-30 frames when I log in and start playing. The first thing I do is turn all of the settings down to low (view distance scale can be left where it's at, though) and hit apply. Then I turn all of the settings back up to high, and this time I'm sudenly getting 50-60fps. Albeit the fog is now rendering correctly, which probably gives me a huge perf boost, but as long as I have more frames I'm happy.
