You can see it like that, of course. Have you already deinstalled it? Because we had official servers until September and nobody was playing the game anymore (despite from some hacking kids).
Or you could honor that the original dev team came back, created private servers so that as long as there is any player hosting a server - the game will stay alive. That they provided admin tools that allows admins to effectively manage servers (something that the community was asking for since the first cheaters were seen in the game) and now they start fixing bugs & exploits. All that after that dark moment in September when all official servers have been shut down.
But yes, you may be right. Complaining feels better. (I hope you get the irony)
No i havnt deinstalled it, I was playing all the time before official Servers are going down. On the PVE Servers were always people. Now there is no PVE server and less people play this game (noone wants get killed because of a buttered knife). Current there are just 50 players online on all servers...
No. We came back because MBER (The server backend) shutdown. That made the game unplayable, so we came back to fix that and that meant ripping out the servers that tied all this data together. In order to ensure you could never lose your game again, we implemented the ability for players to host their own server. That way, the game can't die because a company like MBER decides to shut its doors.
