[Improving your settings]Configurating .ini files for new options:
All this files are in your C:\Users\"yourusername"\Documents\my games\Nether\NetherGame\Config\

Also I recommend you to make a backupt of those files you edit, but you still can erase and check integrity so the files will come back(or they should at least).

Change resolution to the one you want:
This must be done in the NetherSystemSettings file, you must search this values

ResX=
ResY=

e.g. If you want 2560x1080 resolution you would put

ResX=2560
ResY=1080

Change or fixing bindings:
To change this, you need to change NetherInput.ini

I belive you can put more mouse sensitivity if you want(I haven't tried but it should work as other tweak I've done with NetherSystemSettings that i'll explain later). This value is

MouseSensitivity=60.000000

Btw, you can also change the quick slot bindings, or fix the flashlight binding(some people had problems with flashlight binding)
This valuse are found if you haven't changed them as

Bindings=(Name="F",Command="ToggleFlashlight")
Bindings=(Name="one",Command="EquipRangedWeapon")
Bindings=(Name="two",Command="EquipSidearmWeapon")
Bindings=(Name="three",Command="EquipMeleeWeapon")
Bindings=(Name="four",Command="StartUsingQuickSlot 0 | onrelease QuickSlotReleased 0")
Bindings=(Name="five",Command="StartUsingQuickSlot 1 | onrelease QuickSlotReleased 1")
Bindings=(Name="six",Command="StartUsingQuickSlot 2 | onrelease QuickSlotReleased 2")
Bindings=(Name="seven",Command="StartUsingQuickSlot 3 | onrelease QuickSlotReleased 3")

You have to change the value after Name=, for example:

Bindings=(Name="X",Command="ToggleFlashlight")

Improving your fps(with the cost of graphics):
This will probably make your game to look pretty bad, but at least it makes the game to work a bit better. This must be done in NetherSystemSettings.ini.

Some helpful values to edit:

  • MaxDrawDistanceScale=

The minimum value ingame is 0.600000, but you can put it lower than that in the file for sure. As lower this value is, some objects won't be apearing at certain distances, but it doesn't "breaks" the gameplay a lot, you will see loot objects and other even if they're very far, or inside some car, like for example, ambulances.

  • bAllowHighQualityMaterials=True

Changing this value to False should improve things a little bit, but I'm not 100% sure if it helps or does something.

  • DepthOfField=True

The same as I said about the HighQualityMaterials options.

It may be other tweaks can be done at this file, but I'm not sure which one helps to be changed, also I'm pretty sure you can be able to improve graphics if you graphics card is very powerful.

Something asked for around is to change FOV. It can be done at NetherCamera.ini in the same folder. Default value is 90
