I don't know which server to play on haha, but I'm going to keep on eye on which one has higher numbers this weekend

If you're seeing AusAntiHeroes, I'm hosting that in Australia - high ping is hell on the wing glider and I missed using that. It'll be up as long as possible, I'm just trying to hunt down the old server tools/scripts after losing everything years ago to a hdd failure.

Lokki I have a little bit older set of the Nether Tools I downloaded from CaptBlakes google drive page around 2016-2017. i dont htink its the latest, i have a server launcher 1.1 and I think he had a 1.2 that I can't find now. But glad to help out with it HMU if you wanna get

I have a srv up right now (the one called "Just Testing 4 Now" in Central US. I have some work to do on it to get the daily restart server stuff, backups, start on boot etc but it is working.

It turns out I'm not even using that server launcher 1.1. I got to looking over my old setup on the last nether server I had and I was just using batch files to run the server with, there was a set of batch files in the servers tools setup CaptBlake had back then. I have modded them a bit since.

Ah no worries, yeah I've just been using launcher 1.2, it's about the only way it will run for me and only on the one machine. I've tried many times to transplant it to a different machine or start it up on a virtual machine and it just never registers properly as a game server. No idea why.

When you've tried hosting on other machines have you also updated your port forwarding settings in your router? Same might apply to when youre VMing depending on how youre handling your network.

yeah, that's what is making me nuts about the whole thing. I've even tried putting the VM completely open to the internet and still no joy with it, it's got me.
Every few months I'll decide I'm definitely going to get it working, take the old server down and switch it off and then try to set it up on a new machine or VM... and then after a day or two of failing, I'll switch the old lattepanda back on in defeat.
Most of the time it even gets a server ID from steam and I can force the connection locally, but it just never advertises itself.
