So unless somebody wants to throw $100k into a team to fix a POS almost game, it won't happen. And given there are decent 4x games on steam already, nobody in their right mind will put money into this.
under what circumstances would this be a good idea? get the hell away from this and don't come back and any update you want to this game the finished product would still be 10 times worse than at least 10 4x space games out there, so again why?
what are you doing in here? how about endless space 2 or dawn of andromeda?
I'm just waiting for dawn of andromeda to be another train wreck... but who knows.
Funny thing is that Mike has claimed that Arkavi went out of money and had to...

(I know I'm not the only one to wince at some of the claims of Mike's in what is being worked on and whatever. It never excuses why they weren't able to inform anyone here.)
So when you run out of money = spacebase and run!
And that is why Valve tightened their rules and guidelines for the Early Access program.
So no money = starting up a new company with the same publisher? Yeah, I smell it too.
Oh, and how Mike portrays himself as "just one of the guys" instead of the CEO in charge of the company is kinda telling:
