I love this game!!! It is super fun. I think I purchased this as part of a humble bundle offer but I can't remember with all the extreme discounts and great free games you can get these days. Either way, the cheesy grind-house presentation and the nods to previous House of the Dead games make this a treat to play. I am a fan of everything this game offers. The only thing I feel I would have put a little more something into are the enemies who take you through a very obvious cut and paste sequence as you impale them with of a handful of pole shaped weapons you get to use--only once. With that in mind, I do play this game quite a bit lately, mostly after buying a mechanical keyboard (f99 iykyk).
Anyway, thumbs up on The Typing of the Dead Overkill!!

Easily the most fun Ive ever had when it comes to upping my typing skills. The cutscenes are also super hilarious as well.

More fun than it has any right to be, and the cheese factor is so over the top it's wonderful. Actually requires some decent typing skills for the harder difficulties. I wish there were more games of this style being made.
