played through on hardest setting from the start, was challenging, but the bonus missions are pretty much impossible to complete, I know they ramped up difficulty a while ago, but this is now stupid. (I beat the game years ago, Im just going back over them because its a good game)....

I love the franchise and I hate the devs

Hello. I have almost all parts of Kingdom Rush franchise. And in each game, on certain stage of the game, the difficulty suddenly jumps from adequate to very-very hard, even when I play on low difficulty. And especially when I trying to play on harder levels. No tips, no clues — just bam, you are f**ked. And then again and again. Yes, I am casual player, at the same time I successfully finished dozens of other games during the years just using logic and common sense. I play games for about 25 years. But...

Which are the difficulty bonuses?

I've been noticing that I'm finishing with the same number of towers in Casual as in Veteran. Since I kill more in Veteran, I should be finishing with more towers. What's the difference in difficulty? Do monsters drop less money? Or maybe they do drop more money and I didn't notice?...

The original, and one of the best tower defense games ever. Just a classic, great, game. It is harder than later Kingdom Rush installments, but that's definitely not a bad thing! If your introduction to the franchise was Vengeance or Alliance, give this a play-through. You'll be glad you did.

While the game isn't hugely popular, it's familiar to most people who played it as kids on online gaming platforms. All I can say is that it's a truly fantastic game. It's a classic. As someone who played it from the very beginning, I'm incredibly pleased that Ironhide Studio has grown so much since its release, and I have high hopes for future installments just as good. 10/10
