Payday 3 is the gaming equivalent of showing up to a five-star dinner and being served stale bread and tap water. It’s like the devs saw everything we loved in Payday 2 and said, “You know what? Let’s just not do that.” The skill system? Gone. Want to play as a tank or a dodgy ninja? Too bad! Weapon customization? Forget it. Here, have a few options and pretend you're impressed.

Then there are the bugs. Oh boy, the bugs! My first experience was my character loading in as just a floating head and a gun—like some bizarre, haunted Picasso. And let’s not forget the crashes. Want to equip a cool mask? BAM, your game explodes. Progression? Good luck with that, because half the time you finish a heist, you get zero XP. Zero. Nada. Congrats, you played yourself!

Oh, and the always-online requirement. Nothing screams “fun” like being locked out of your game because the servers are having a bad day. And for what? Fewer heists, fewer weapons, fewer options, and a lot more frustration. This isn’t just a letdown; it’s a heist where we are the ones getting robbed. Bravo, Starbreeze. You’ve managed to disappoint even the most die-hard fans.

feels like some random game with payday skin on ... ye it got facelift but nobody plays Payday for graphics ... its gameplay thats fun .. and so far I have yet to have it

Launch was quite a traumatic event but the game is legit getting better with each updates. Will need some time before it's on par with the current state of PD2 but saying it's trash would be of bad faith.
