I have tried pretty much everything I've seen to get the game running, I downloaded and installed the old direct X files, I made sure the Direct play legacy option was on in my control panel, I downloaded what was apparently a fix for nglide, all of it.

No matter what I try, I get the same issue: The game freezes at the intro video when I go to load the first level. I can get into the main menu just fine, pick my level and character, and all that, but when I go to actually hit space and start the level, the game screen suddenly shrinks and stays in the top left corner of my screen, frozen, and locks out my mouse control.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on, or what I'm doing wrong, but I'm getting seriously frustrated.
