When there will be an option to take off the whole suit off of our character. This will also give more story immersive features and will make ladders make sense when player dont rely on jetpack all the time. and the advantage will be not having to recharge energy of the suit, consuming food will yield more hunger/hydration level. i dont think it would be difficult mechanic. no hair physics necessary :P

I do wonder, though, how viable will space suit survival be with the uptdate ?
Will there be crops sold in stations ? Do we *need* crops to survive or will there be meat ?
