Have you seen how horrible the desert storms are?
A smoke (if that can be called that) with PS1 graphics, generated just a few meters from the characters; and if you switch to third-person view, that’s when things get worse...
And when the storm comes and goes, it seems like some command was activated and the environment, which was dirty, became clean instantly...

Simply ridiculous, man! And this has been in Space Engineers FOR YEARS! But the team is focused on bringing useless DLCs that offer ''raw'' and vague content, for the price they ask. My God, half of the DLCs should be part of the Base game!

Maybe they’ll delete this post like they have done a few times when I express my opinion about the game...

I wonder if these are partially AI-generated. Like they just get chatgpt to pick out recently trending steam workshop pages, write brief descriptions, and then some interns clean it up and add the extra stuff like images.

10-4 rubber ducky

fun fact: you can click the images to see the item, click the rubber ducks to get one yourself

Nope, all me without an intern :D Good old hand editing, here and on our Community Hub too ;)

Workshop, discord and reddit every day - ships/creations/videos go to our daily soc. media spotlights, authors go to the creator spotlight to-do list (which has currently 200+ names and is growing faster than i can contact the creators and release the articles) and I'm saving links for the mods/scripts/blocks/scenarios and pick the most interesting for the monthly at the end of the month. Mainly scouting for something that you can create a whole new play session around - or include in your builds - or is funny or "art".

I just read a dev post that says that show case mods "to be funny" such a hopeless future these games have with the worst public relations and professionalism possible.

We do not think showing interest in our comunity and all the amazing creations that our game brings is 'worst public relations and professionalism possible'.

People poured hundreds of hours into their builds and mods and they deserve our attention. It is this community that made Space Engineers into what it is.

We are proud that you can mod Space Engineers into anything you wish for, we talk with our modders every day and help them with their creations. Sometimes even by changing the code to make what they dreamed a possibility.

And fun? Can't we have fun? I laughed when i first saw the ducky quack and I hope humor is an universal language that can connect the humanity together. :se:

Put it in your Klang shrine for worship purposes
I have truly no idea why theres been such a hate wagon for keen recently, its one of the most responsive and community-centric dev teams ive ever seen in gaming. Honestly shameful behaviour from certain members of the playerbase

... keen is NOTORIOUS for ignoring issues with space engineers that have been sent over and over to their report team for literally YEARS.

I've been playing space engineers since planets first dropped and they had regular updates almost weekly. I remember when the updates slowed to an absolute crawl. Some of them 8-10 months apart with ZERO word from keen about what they were doing behind the scenes or any sort of road map of where they were headed with the game.

I will say, they have gotten MUCH better recently since the announcement of s.e. 2 but I COMPLETELY Understand the skepticism. ESPECIALLY in today's age of digital gaming.

Looking at you, KSP 2...
